I got a 2004 Melody Maker with a single P-90 (and a repaired headstock) on ebay for $175....I play the thing out all the time (usually set up for slide) and then bring one of my LP's or SG's along. Funny how I never leave that at home, I really would love one of the early Black Beauty's with the P-90's eventually....

Actually just like this one only red....funny how Gibson stopped selling them with P-90's, just too cheap I guess. Now they use some other hokey PUP...

You are correct though. I'm going P90 crazy. Had one then three now four, looking at five. When does it end?

The small-guard SG was about 1000 bucks new and the white junior was about $700. Can you say "bang for the buck"?
