Do all Les Paul Studios have a maple top? Fat neck? Chambered?

Mine is an 08 in Alpine White. Chambered, 50s neck, maple top. I think they use a slightly thinner mahogany back for the body. Not a big deal IME.

I would opt for the 07. It looks like it's just starting to "cream" in the pics.

The newer Gibby LP Studio Satin models, or whatever they are called these days are heavy beasts. Makes me wonder if they are still chambered. I weighed one at a music store. They had a scale. It was 10.5 lbs. Holy carp. The ones at Sweetwater seem to average in the 9 lb range.

Really? My Tribute Studios are Feather light compared to my Traditional.
