Hi there,
Someone is selling a lefty MIJ tokai SG, he thinks from 2005/2006. Thing is, he doesn't know anything about the model number or much else, only that it was around $1400 NZD when new and didn't come with a case.
It's cherry red (not the heritage wine red colour, more of a brighter shade), has the '61 small scratchplate, full size A500k pots with "made in Japan" stamped on them, and the cap is some small green mylar thing. The cavity is coated in some thick black paint.
This is the one image I have of the whole guitar:
I went back asking for a shot of the neck cavity and undersides of pickups but I'm just trying to work out what model I'm looking at here. He wants around $650 NZD for it which is really pushing my budget for an impulse buy
but lefty MIJs are like a fart in a jacuzzi... they don't stick around too long.
He said it looks like an SG60, but honestly every SG looks the same so I'm hoping someone with some actual Tokai knowledge will be able ot help me out.
Cheers!
