i can say one thing, since i got my 2020 50's GT, its been like salt peter to my Gibson lust. I havent really thought about getting another LP since. Not that i wont marvel at a few that i could never afford anyway but beyond that Im thinkin either SG or bass VI lately

My only MIK vs MIC experience is with my two Gretches, a G5622T and a G5230T, one MIC and one MIK. Both of those guitars are incredible builds, and after owning 9 Gretsches over the last 60 years, these are among the finest I've encountered.
