Looking into some B5's I ran across some that are "Licensed".
They look exactly the same, but of course cheaper means something is up - can anyone tell me if there is a real difference here?

And if so what it is?

The licensed bigsbys are built lighter, they have less material and weight.

If you are a heavy user the real Bigbsy is the way to go, if you use it more ocassionally the licensed version is just fine.

The Gibson Les Paul Florentine uses a licensed version and so do Taylor electric guitars.

My Epiphone Casino has a licensed version and it works just fine.

Is there a difference in the look between the 2? Do the licensed look cheaper than the USA in any way?
