Okay, I'm designing a new pedalboard for my new band.
This is the general premise.

....................... > Guitar Pedal Chain > Guitar Amp
Guitar > MXR A/B
....................... > Octave Pedal > EQ > ? >Bass Amp

Does anyone make a pedal that will, bleed off/ignore notes of a certain pitch?

I figured some kind of EQ, but you'll still hear it no matter what.

On the bass signal chain, I basically want to wipe out anything played on the top 3 strings...

Can't think of any pedal that will mute off the top 3 strings specifically.

You are right, an eq pedal would reduce things but you would still hear harmonics, overtones etc.

You could try splitting the pickups and having two separate outs for them? i.e, so one pick up only has poles for the bottom strings and the other for the top strings?

The only clean way to do this is with a hex pickup (GK-13) guitar.
