I have to really thank Dave, not only for his incredible workmanship, but he made me feel I was right there with him throughout the build process. You will not get this personalized service anywhere else.
Unless he moves.

:dunno:

I hate to break it to you but if Dave moved,
we would be able to get "this personalized service" somewhere else.
So, you're kind of wrong.

;)

:laugh2:

one-piece Spanish Cedar neck and body

whoa! excellence. congrats to you and Dave!

Thanks!

Spanish Cedar has the light weight, the resonance, and the beautiful pecan-brown natural color that beats what is out there they are calling "Honduran" mahogany. SC is lighter, with less silicates than what I've found in HM.

I swear by the stuff. Comes standard in all my builds.

Thank you all for the compliments and kind words.

And special thanks to Victor for his special order.

I can say this, and a few here will understand it; this one just wanted to be a guitar.

From the word go, every step from the build from scratch, it came together easy.

It didn't fight me, and sometimes they do.

Great work Dave!

Vic: Total respect for your vision! What an exquisite piece!

I must admit, if I'd read your vision on a piece of paper I would have questioned it.
In writing I would have been a "no".
In reality it's top of the list of the most tasteful pieces I've ever seen.
It just screams class.

Mega congrats.

It's cool how that colour changes with the lighting. In the demo vid it looks like black guard on black paint which looks awesome but the green comes through in the pics and looks equally as awesome.

This, exactly! It would photograph way more green in direct sunlight (if I ever see it again around here) and looks black in low light. I'll post more pics later, but I love the fact that the entire guitar is this color and not just the top.

That color is something else! That, combined with that African Blackwood board is otherworldly.
My thoughts exactly. The color hits you 1st, then that board! Super understated.

Reminds me of the Bullet Mustang when the green shows itself.

LOL

That's right, Victor-- rub it in! :laugh2:

I'm all green, like a jelly bean!

Seriously, though-- what a stunner!

Congratulations are in order, here! :applause:

And Dave-- I don't even want to be a luthier, but I'm all green that you've got such mad skills!

I'm also mad at Victor for being so much better a player than I am as he so happens to be! :laugh2:

Just, a jaw-dropping, great-sounding, killer-ass guitar!
