I get a kick out of listened to "demo" versions of bands I like ; even more when the songs are insanely famous. It's so cool to hear it unpolished, and raw...before it ever got near the radio. Plus, as a guitarist you can hear how some of the most famous guitarists originally played some parts....and it's always refreshing to hear the phrasing/licks just a bit off and realizing that they're just axe players like the rest of us!
My two favorites are
[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9NShN4rLKY]Welcome To The Jungle - Guns N' Roses (Rare 1985 Vinyl Demos) - YouTube[/ame]
Especially the "You guys ready?" at the beginning.
But by far my favorite is

It seems so... pure? Anyone else got some?
