First let me start off by saying that none of these videos are polished. They are meant to convey the sound of the guitar with the vintage 59 PAFs, pots, and caps. I know I make plenty of mistakes; I only play about once a month. And there will be times when the guitar sounds a little out of tune. That is because I used super light strings (8s) and it is hard not to bend them a little when just pressing down on them. And for the videos with no backing track, I know I am playing too fast! No need to point it out! Also, I did all of this last night. So I was getting pretty tired after a while! Also, for those of you hoping it will be a demo of some ZZ Top stuff, sorry, but I don't play any of their stuff. And since I did not want to learn anything for this demo, I just played what I know best. Most people around here know what that is!

The Rover solo 3 times; first with bridge pickup, then with neck pickup, then with both pickups

The Ocean solos

I was very distracted during the one above; right when it started, a HUGE spider came out on the floor from behind my amp. During the la-la-la part in the middle, I picked up a flip flop and hammered it! I think I did ok considering I was wondering if I killed it. You can hear the carpet pop when I hit it! LOL

Heartbreaker solo

The Lemon Song sound byte

Immigrant Song solo from the BBC recording

Some riffery mixed with the solo from Celebration Day from the original release of The Song Remains The Same

Boogie Mama from Whole Lotta Love in The Song Remains The Same; I am surprised I did this one from memory; no backing track, so it is too fast and probably left out a few stanzas!

I can't hear them, too early. But shouldn't this be in the pickups section?

Sounds Good but almost completely different than what i expected..Sounds so warm that its almost muffled. Like a warm blanket:) I think if you remove the Bridge cover, which i'm sure you're headed there, porobaly will add a little brightness for the LZ sounds? i dunno just mo. Haha..Just watched Heartbreaker. There we go! Sounds Great! WOuld be cool if you posted a Gibbons original set up TUbe for comparison

The bridge PU is amazing, nothing more to ask for. The neck, well it didn't make tickle.

Too many people knocking the neck pickup. The thing growls like you would not believe. You can hear it on the first two riffs onn Boogie Mama (last video). Also at the end of the Lemon Song

Maybe just roll the volume down a bit, the overdrive favor the bridge pickup, but does not make the neck shine that much.
