You guys want to buy Madonna's pap smear, it has one of her pubic hairs, used to have two but this guy I was showing it to stole one of them from me so now there's only one, if you look closely you can see it. You sure you don't went to get in on this, ground level.

I saw a newer DS-1 for sale a few months ago for $80. There are a couple of the new mini big muffs for sale for $100 now.

How about $2,000 for a signature? includes authentic smudges on this Studio Lite...
... I love it when sellers indicate their knowledge level: "Nashville or Memphis"
[I actually have this exact model and color, my first Gibson in '92]

Now Only: $2,800

Gibson Les Paul signed by the legend him self. After playing this guitar for an AES event in the mid 90's, Les Paul traced his hand and signed this guitar. All smudges were made by Les Paul during the tracing of his hand by mistakingly rubbing the guitar and ink all over his fingers. This is a one of a kind treasure for any collector.

Serial number: 92481354

Production year: 05 September 1991 (serial nr.: 354)

(Manufactured in Nashville or Memphis)

Way back, in the 80s I bought a 50s Silvertone (Danelectro) "thing" and a non-functional little tube amp at at garage sale for $35. The "thing" was either a baritone guitar or a six string bass -- never figured it out. I trashed the amp. In the early 90s I loaned the "thing" to a friend who played bass and he actually gigged with it set up with bass strings. In the 2000s I was thinning the herd in preparation for a move and put the "thing" up for sale on consignment at the shop of a luthier/friend where I used to live. The "thing" sold for $800! Wish I could find more "things" for $35!

On the other hand, I have a one owner, near mint, Gibson 1961 SG LP Standard with side Pull trem that was appraised back in 2006 for $23K. Now, I'd be lucky to get $15K for it. This is not a "for sale" ad BTW as it is not for sale.

And sorry for the two posts. I have a brand new computer which kept deleting material beyond that above. Computers and I are just not compatible.

There’s a guy on my local craigslist that has had listings on there for over a year, maybe two years. It’s budget level stuff, not necessarily junk, but he still wants way too much money. He will not lower the price a penny, just keeps renewing the listings week in, week out. I’m sure every city has one of these guys on craigslist.

Here’s a great one that has been on my local CL forever. It’s a strat style pickguard that was part of an outdoor sign for a business, it’s worn and rusty from the elements, a total piece of shit. The guy lists it as a “relic”, asking $30.

Gwyneth Paltrow. I mean come on! She needs to lower the price on those scented candles
Right! If it smells, reject it!

And I don't understand the reliced thing. Not only are sellers offering junk as reliced, but Fender is too, and charging more than $30 for that look. Nothing looks better onstage than a new looking, shiny guitar.
