Ill likely never buy a desktop again. My computer is part of my guitar rig now. It is a integral part of my setup and although I have guitar rig its is not for that.

i have a Dell laptop. ive had it for 4 years and i had to have this replaced...

the screen
the power cord
the motherboard TWICE
the keyboard
and the disk drive

but thats why i got the extended 4 year warranty

that's crazy.. are you pretty mobile with it, I mean it dos not just stay on a room, did it take a lot of wear?

I have a Dell laptop that I bought brand new in 2002 that is still alive and kicking. Not great performance wise anymore, but it about 10 years old so I don't expect much out of it anyways. But it has recently been retired from service! ha

Now I also had a Dell desktop and that was complete garbage. I got rid of that in less than a year and built my own desktop. Couldn't be happier.

i hardly ever take it anywhere and i dont think theres a scratch on it. im really careful with it

now that i think of it, i need to get a new screen too. this one has some lines on it that are dimmer than the rest of the screen
