Can anyone tell me what the first letter F or T is in the Elitist LP headstock? Mine has an F.

Thx

F is right. F = Fujigen.

Correct!!! Fujigen Plant in Japan. Sick guitars. You being a old Strat guy may have had one of your Fender's come from there. My Strat is from that plant in Japan.

Hi Lefty, I did not understand you lingo "sick guitar". Not sure what you meant?

Also, are there elitist with a "T" as the first letter, meaning from a different plant ?

Thx

It means the guitar is really good. There are no Elitists with T, AFAIK. T may stand for Terada, Japan. The older plant of Epiphone in Japan.

So all "Elitist" (and the older "Elites") LP's all have an "F" and there are no "T" (Terada plant) LP's ? Sorry for the question, just trying to understand because I had thought (or some reason) there were elitist made in Terada. Any, apprecaite you input.

Thx

Being a Strat guy, you know there are different levels of quality between the MIA, MIM strats etc. Is the same hold true for the Elitist where some are better than others or is the quality pretty consistent over all the Elitist Elite line ? Anything I should watch out for when buying an Elitist/Elite ?

Thx

Quality is consistent over the Elitist line although I would look for the Flame-top Elites, not the Elitists, because most of them have a flametop solid maple cap; no veneer.
And also those Wine Red Customs. They are sweet!

Terada was also making Elitists but they were only making the archtop and thinline models (Casino, Sheraton, Broadway, etc.). All solid body Elitists (LPs and SGs) were made at Fujigen.

Gsouth, welcome dood:thumb:

Elitist guitars are awesome, so badass that I've never heard of anyone getting a dud. The consistent quality can be compared to that of your MIJ strats or squiers, and as a matter of fact are almost all made at the same plant which is Fujigen Gakki.

There are indeed Elitist models with a T, I have one. It is exactly as my bro Shifty says, the Terada made ones are the archtops. Mine is a Casino. But all my elites and elitist SG's and LP's are Fujigen made:cool2:
