Les Paul's sound sweet in Floyd songs. Andy Fairweather Low usually tours with Roger Waters and plays a Les Paul. He plays some ripping stuff on the "The Wall Live In Berlin" show...

Going to see Waters on the 30th. Wish Dave was there...

Yeah and Snowy White on the Floyd and Water's tours as well as actually doing Pigs on the Wing, from the 8-track version of Animals. It was originally done by Snowy White on his Gibson Les Paul Goldtop.
It is available on the Snowy White CD "Goldtop"

Here's a nice Snowy song while we are at it:

Yeah I finally got to see Snowy on the In The Flesh tour, which was one of my top 5 shows of all time. Snowy, Andy, and Doyle Bramhall III on guitars. Smokin..

Oh that sounds So good. I'm glad you got to experience that lineup.:thumb:

I have to get over my disdain for Waters. He is great, I know that. But for a period, it seemed like a very LONG period, I could not stand his approach to vocals. All the whispering then screaming, then down to a whisper again, just wore me out and chased me away. I'm over that now. Hopefully Roger is too?:fingersx:

He's taken to that Les Paul lately. Perhaps more to come?

I have always liked David Gilmour. Now I like him even more since EMG put me next to him on their website artist roster.
