Okay, truth be told I probably don't need another 5-watter, but the GAS you guys have been created for Phaez is rediculous! I want it, I want it, I want it.

However, seeing how my current 5-watter is based off a Fender, it would be nice to have a 5-watter based off of a Marshall.

I want it! Sigh

That really isn't worth it IMO. It's another $50 for shipping and that brings the price to $400. You can get a new one for that.. and bigger than 5 watts. Randy only charges $35 for shipping. Just sayin.:)

even with the cabinet (around the amp that is, not speaker cabinet) it's that inexpensive?

it's worth it if you don't want to wait and sigh... I am a condo dweller where even five watts is too loud.

and of course buying used means no waiting for the build.

excellent point, Sunday mornings aren't exactly a good time for that, but yes, generally a good point.

Actually, just leave this tab open and then open a new tab in your browser with this or similar addresses in it. Works a treat as they say.

Then you can kill two birds with one stone while keeping your gas attack going.:laugh2:

The computer is where you'll find a job, throught the Internet. Does anyone look at the Newspaper Classifieds anymore?

There isn't anything in the classifieds any more, thus my follow up post. At some point though you will actually have to show up for an interview.

It's all very frustrating really on both sides. While it does suck being unemployed, it's got to suck more to be on the employed side of the fence paying the bill. Either way, when I posted this thread I was more bitchin about not being able to get an amp I want, perhaps I opened wrong about mentioning/complaining I don't have a job. Didn't mean to trigger any talk about economy and such.

Yup, sure do use the Internet for job searching too. Thanks for the advise though. While being unemployed I was given the opportunity to finish my bachelors degree. I just graduated last month (I started it in 1986, my degree is in perseverance), so I'm actually pretty hopeful I'll get something soon. If not, substitute teaching next fall is viable.

I feel for you. There are so many people trying to find work. There is a ton of competition. Visualize it happening. Talk about it in the past tense, like you have already found a job...It will come to you. Affirm, it works:thumb:

Technically speaking; no, not really. Many people are able to telecommute from home. Interviews can be conducted through phone interviews, background searches, etc...

I'm just making the point because I think this is one way to reduce the dependency on foreign oil, traffic congestion and it can save employers and employees a lot of cash.

Better yet. Start your own business.

Even better yet. Keep working with your guitar. "Money for nothin, and your chicks for free"! :laugh2: :laugh2:
