Custombucker neck magnet recommendation

I’ve decided on a UOA5 magnet for the bridge and looking for a good match for the neck position. Torn between regular A5, A4 and A2. Want a bit more punch and singing lead tone and nice middle position rolled off cleans. Thanks in advance

Try buying a selection and swapping them in to compare......leaving your bridge options open too. You never quite know what combo will work - and you might find the UOA5 might be the best neck option for example.

I think A4 is what you want.
I’ve had great results in using them
with warmer hollow bodies, really opens up
the neck pup.

A5 can be too boomy in something like a
custombucker.
A2 might be too flubby in the lows.

I think you need different pickups, not different magnets
