So I'm nearing the point to do a headstock logo. For this guitar I'd like to do my own headstock logo in some sort of gold silkscreen or stencil style. Any recommendations for places where I can draw up a logo and have someone send me a custom stencil? Or is there someway to DIY a good custom stencil?

Also, what paint is recommended so that it doesn't bleed with the nitrocellulose lacquer? I'd like it to remain nice and sharp.

Personally? I'd recommend a transfer. (It's a "edgeless" decal). I used to use Scary Creative but their new adhesive is troublematic for me. Paul Rhoney is using these guys: Welcome to Camera Graphics and the price is REALLY fair. You can do gold ink, foils ect.

Yeah every time I tell somebody how much I pay for my decals they're like "seriously, that's way cheaper than what I was paying." I was referred to them by Saul Koll, and even though I've never used decals made by anyone else, I don't feel the need to look for anything better.

What do you ask for when you call? If I send them the graphic would I ask for a gold decal?
