Good morning, MLPPPPPPPPPP!!!

How is everyone today? I don't have much planned. I'm just going to church and doing homework. Need to break in these boots, so I'll probably get some walking in today.
Raining here again.
March madness and world baseball on TV.
Jimmie Dean meat lovers breakfast bowl and coffee, presently.
Guitaring later.

Thank you for 'kyped.'
I oft use it, and usually get 'huh?'
That and 'put the kibosh on.'

Be there, aloha.

Never heard 'kyped' before but we use 'put the kibosh on' quite regularly.

On a more serious note, the gov here is rolling out a national system to alert people about major emergencies or disasters in their area (flood etc). Wailing noises and messages direct on your mobile phone. Testing starts next month.

The story said the US and other countries already have such a thing. Is that true? Is it useful? My first thought is to disable it in my phone settings (I don't like the idea of the gov contacting my phone without my express agreement on principle) but thought I'd check with you guys first, in case it actually provides something useful.

We call cigarettes homosexuals.
"Could I bum a homosexual, governor?" is a common query.
To 'bum' is 'to get one from.'
To 'front' is to borrow.
And to carry something heavy is to 'hump' it.

Never heard of 'silver' alerts.
That is WAY too funny.

sweetwater has a sale on PRS SE HBII Piezo guitars. i snagged one last night.

I never could put out the money for a USA version even when I got the "employee discount" through sam ash. the videos on the SE are pretty good so worth a shot since my other piezo guitar will be out for repair, assuming for some time as those things tend to go.

thanks, yeah it's a looker for sure. flamed maple binding ftw.

i thank Seminole Hard Rock Casino for the coin to grab it, we paid her property taxes and bought me a guitar with enough left over for the taxes on the win.

i'll probably flip a guitar or two soon. i have a nice Morris acoustic that I almost never play, and someone will want that brazillian rosewood beast.

I always have the simplest questions; but people love to ream me.

F-ing Celsius. What the f-bomb is that?

And how am I supposed to measure the temp of an f-bomb waffle iron, anyway?

It's not really a machine, numb nuts; it's a waffle iron.
Holy f-bomb s-word.

Yes, we have automatic alerts for things like Amber alerts, tornado watches and warnings, flood watches and warnings, etc. You can disable it, though, in some cases.
