Good evening gentlemen..... been a minute since I’ve been here.... though I share a new project I acquired.

If anyone is into scale model building I have something very interesting.

Its a large 1/12 scale Chinese manufactured model kit of a

“US Sports Car”

Yeah.... that’s the description on the box.

Its a Ford GT 40 as it appeared in the 24hr at Lemans.

It’s extremely detailed..... real Springs, braided fuel lines,.. real metal grills.... lots of screws and nuts... it looks like a lotta fun.

I’m surprised by the quality of parts... absolutely no flash.

These are the tires in front of my 1/25 scale Red Baron model T I built years ago.... just give this some scale.

I apologize for interrupted normal proceedings ...... please continue.
Licensing issues... the new generation of models uses 3D technology heavily and thus the leap between models from 2020 from models even as close as 2005 is impossible to believe. Photo-etched parts, resin parts added standard, many decal options, just like with guitars it's a good time to be a scale modeler :)

It's so good to be alive... I wake up and see 4 proper Gibsons, a Martin, lots of fenders, 2 Marshalls in my own little apartment and life is just so beautiful. Just 3 years ago it'd seem so impossible.

Achieved it all before hitting 30, or even 28.

I'm so happy to be alive! :dude:
Hope y'all are having a blast too.

Had to take an amp back to store that is under warranty.
I told them when the new one arrived, I would pick it up.
Was gonna call today to see if ready.
Got home and found the new amp at the doorstep.
Surprised they left it there with no signature required.

No delivery signature.
No proof it arrived.
Unless the driver took a photo of it.
If it had been stolen, not sure how that works out.
Glad it's here, saved me a trip to the store.
Wait... so you're saying that someone stole it before you got home from work?

FRI-day coffee is on, and fresh.
Folger's® Classic Roast.
Little on the strong side, might want some creamer in that.

Warm weather and rains have made things a jungle; bugs are out, carpenter ant in the bathroom, bats were out last night.
No cicadas.
I wonder what cicada's natural predators are.
Huh.
Have to find an entomologist.
