Licensing issues... the new generation of models uses 3D technology heavily and thus the leap between models from 2020 from models even as close as 2005 is impossible to believe. Photo-etched parts, resin parts added standard, many decal options, just like with guitars it's a good time to be a scale modelerGood evening gentlemen..... been a minute since I’ve been here.... though I share a new project I acquired.
If anyone is into scale model building I have something very interesting.
Its a large 1/12 scale Chinese manufactured model kit of a
“US Sports Car”
Yeah.... that’s the description on the box.
Its a Ford GT 40 as it appeared in the 24hr at Lemans.
It’s extremely detailed..... real Springs, braided fuel lines,.. real metal grills.... lots of screws and nuts... it looks like a lotta fun.
I’m surprised by the quality of parts... absolutely no flash.
