Windows 10 is invasive.
It knows I have a ROKU and included it in "my devices."
I don't want them sharing info with each other; Jeebus.
YouTube remembers what I watch and tells TV, and vice versa.

I dunno if I worded that right, but you know what I mean, I reckon; with your fancy satellite phones and Starbucks knowing where you are 24 / 7.

Got sound all configured to work as desired on new unit.
Jeezo-pete; there's like four scattered menu buttons that have to be 'just so.'
Mish-mash.
Unit has an internal speaker somewhere, but that's gotta be disabled. Sheesh.
"I'm getting sound, but it's not going from line-out to stereo, jeezo-pete."
"OK, Realtek speaker 2 needs to be enabled, sheesh."
ASIO sound drivers working OK, zero latency. So far. Pffft.

Found and uninstalled a butt-load of bloatware that comes with Win 10.
Xbox crap and bells and whistles that I don't need.

There's a sound enhancement feature that was boosting the bass and providing false 'spatial' qualities that had to be shut off, it was on by default; sounded alright at first thru stereo, but you put on headphones and it was crap; not as the music was intended.

Developer: "Hey, Phil; wouldn't it be easier if all these options were on one short menu?"

Phil: "Well, sure; but those tech support phones are gonna be silent."
