Gonna be a 2007 Melody Maker at my local store, available tomorrow at 2:00 PM online at L&M. I wonder what the price will be. It's part of an online only "Jack's Attic Sale" and one has to pick up what they buy. No shipping, no store transfers.
The web site has slowed down considerably...

Well, gawd dag. A used ES-235 in '34 Burst just popped up on the L&M Gear Hunter page for $1600 (~$1220 US)
Dang it. I'd rather have that than some goofy old Melody Maker reissue. I have plenty o' P-90s anyway...

Friday coffee ready.

I'll have a cup.

And a giant fan to blow away all this yellow air.

We're surrounded by fires.

We're not going to get burned up; too far away. But they are to the south of us on the other side of the mountains, and to the West of us near the Cajon Pass. And that's the direction from where our breezes come from.

Coming from that direction I bet Victorville is nasty too (that's not VictorBville)

Yah, mahn.... one of these look great after a few years of hard play.

But if you study the logistics
And heuristics of the mystics
You will find that their minds rarely move in a line
So it's much more realistic
To abandon such ballistics
And resign to be trapped on a leaf in a vine

I forgot that I have a Steinberger on order that will require $475 on pickup in about 6 weeks or so. And I do like the Explorer, even though it's huge.

But I really like that '34 Burst. And I am debt free.
I might just buy the 235 and grit my teeth. I can always get extra hours at work...

Had to do another self-hairs-cut.
Went with the Pop recommended #2 guard, all over.

On a side note, won't be doing any videos for about six months.
Need new, need some new, ah; fresh material!
That's it, fresh material.

Sorry Dav. I might have failed to mention that you already have to have really good looks to pull off the #2 cut.
