Envelopes are something I rarely use. I send my tax forms in one, but I just write my name in the corner. Ink is cheaper and faster than me goofing with an address gadgetDav - thought of you earlier when I had a 7 page document to tri-fold into a standard envelope. Not that I do that all that often - I do not.
I seem to have an eye for guesstimating where to fold. I nailed all pages with a maybe 5 mm "tab" for the letter opener to thumb over to open the pages. I am a machine.
I print labels rather than fuss with envelopes. Avery 18160 work well and can be fed into the manual paper feed tray numerous times with care.
Sure, it's neat and professional looking. When someone would sign for a delivery, and was obviously taking pains to be neat, I'd tell them that there's no points for neatness.
