Just ordered me one of those "instant" pressure cooker do-dads. A Consumer Reports recommend model.

I don't cook enough decent food, rather eat a lot of frozen or prepackaged stuff. We'll see how that goes.

Supposedly they are awesome. A friend swears by them.
Was looking at various pressure cooked recipes and methods and said fug it.

Looking to easily cook dried chick peas, beans and lentils. Brown rice and whole grain pasta as well. I'll try to adapt my old Chili recipe I have not made in forever. They supposedly sauté, so that should be easy enough.

Supposedly they are awesome. I read that above.
I've saved several recipes already. I'm looking for consistency over several of the same type so I have a reasonably good idea they are not bullshit.

Love brown rice, but it usually takes so damn long to cook. Have a 2 pound bag of Indian Brown Basmati rice ready to go too.

Well, now; what the heck.
Browsing CraigList, saw a ES-135 for, like, $1100.
Now, what the heck is wrong with these?
Got the Gibson name, etc.
ES-335's are like, so pricey; what's wrong with these?
Sheesh; I might have a new goal.
Pretty cool fiddles.

Nevermind; now I see it...
ES-335 got a lot easier access upstairs.

I had one exactly like that one. It was awesome, and I sold it to buy something I no longer have, and I would love to get another.

Well, we all have the "I was a moron for selling..." stories and the ES-135 was mine.
