Hi, guys! I got a replica Les Paul with a set of pots marked as CTS 500 1144. Also Nos Bumblee.

Any idea about those pots or how to date them?

As far as I can tell they are:
Chicago Telephone Supply
500K ohms
Made in the 44th week of 2011

Is there anything on the side of the pot? If there is an A it is an Audio Taper,
and L would be a Linear Taper.
(Potentiometers aren't my strong point)

Since it's a replica, dating the parts doesn't really make any difference. It's not going to change the value of the guitar one way or another. They're newer pots, definitely not made in the 50s thru 70s at the very least.

Make any difference to who? You or the OP? And where did he say he was looking to evaluate the value of the guitar based on the pots?

What a useless response.

Thanks! That sounds possible as my GY es from November 2012, so 2011 CTS Pots might be right.

Im not wishing to sell my guitar or get a valuation, instead only trying to have info about all its parts.
They work perfectly great and im not willing to change them also.
It's just a nerd stuff!

You said it!
This pots set works incredibly ok. They work all the way up and down, without losing any frequency. That's why im trying to be sure about what they're as an equal set might be a great improvement for some of my others Les. Also i do always wanna know every part of my guitars.

Yes!
It's a full '59 specs with all the parts done by Gil (or built for Gil with his specs and materials).
Brazilian board, lemon, and a ridiculous weight of 7.4lb with a non relief or holes body.

Words apart for Gil's PAF...Just the right thing.

He did a perfect job!

Probably the closest you can get to actual vintage!!!!

7.4lbs on a LP.... Perfect.

Can we get a pic of the top?

No shame in that. It's like model railroading to fine detail.

We just enjoy doing it, and that's well enough.

I recently built a 58 V to such exacting specs for a guy.

It's got that " want to grab it and play it" thing..

Player's lust.
I do not where did he took that light wood from, but it's an incredible old growth mahogany and as i cannot believe the weight I did it a bone scan and there's no kind of weight relief...Just light old wood! (i do have a friend with an animal hospital and asked him for the bone scan lol).

And that's my feeling about this guitar: wanna grab it all the day, it has like a magnetic connection.
