I think I saw on FB that he was going to discontinue some CT items - I thought it was either the electronics or smaller parts. Maybe someone can comment on that here?

Probably the stuff that he doesn't actually make himself.
He probably doesn't pay his suppliers any better than he ships his products.

Lonnie is a strange guy. He bought a LP from me when he first started Creamtone. Nice guy.
From everything I have read and gathered, his work/products are top notch.

On the flip side, it’s weird….there is a side of arrogance to him for sure. He will post on his FB about “oh look at this customer threatening me”. Why would you post that?
I posted on my FB page about electric vehicles and some downsides and he posted his BMW saying “I like gas too”. I said “oh nice ride”. His response…”Creamtone bought it for me”. He then told me he sold the original guitar I sold him. I said, “oh cool”. Then proceeded to post about him getting the “soul burst” guitar….all of this off topic from my original post….almost like “hey I’ve got an opportunity to brag”. There is a difference between pride and arrogance.
I think he’s a genuinely good dude, Just having some success issues. Lol

Has anybody here received their orders they placed? Or recently ordered anything? Updates?

He's filling his Reverb orders, but those of us who ordered direct over the last 2 years are still screwed.

Nope.... I wouldn't even consider ordering from Lonnie.....haven't done so since 2019 when this crap started happening... to me anyways.

Just curious, does this type of fraud warrant involving law enforcement? We may be talking tens of thousands or much more. The website is still open.

I am beginning to think he is just a good thief, period. And he has all of you (including myself) being played like a foolish fiddle.

Problem is, in the big picture, he has stolen thousands.
But each individual case would be petty theft and law enforcement won't be bothered.
Best case would be if he could be prosecuted under mail fraud, but payment is all online, and the consumer protection laws have not caught up with the 21st century.

It's too big of a problem to be ignored, but it's too small of a problem for anyone to actually do anything about.
And it's not worth the criminal charges that would result from proper street justice.

So all we can do is share our experiences, cry in our beer, and hope that others heed the warning.

Could be. I haven’t bothered to read the whole thread. Are there people who never got the product or a refund?

Unfortunately for him I reside in the same state. And could be knocking on his front door after a short four hours car ride. But I have already contacted my CC company and initiated a refund. I'll be damned if my hard earned money becomes a charitable donation to his cost of living

Somewhere in this thead I posted the screenshots of his social media tirades.
He can rant and rave at everybody. Who gives a crap? He's the one screwing everybody out of their money. Most do not get away with things like this without serious consequences.

Ordered over $100 worth of stuff 2 years ago.
I got the order confirmation email.
Then crickets.
Emailed him a couple of months later, crickets.
A few months later, the emails bounced.

I was going to initiate a CC charge-back but the CC I used requires the charges to be contested IN WRITING no more than 90 days from the statement on which the charge first appeared. I was at 120 days.

Ultimately, it's around $100 and not worth having a stroke over.
It's a hell of a lot better than the $600 that Patrick Simms fucked me out of.

Actually most do, because nobody is dumb enough to go to jail over $50.

Thing is, for years, he was a well respected supplier and had a very good reputation.
He claims there was family illness, then an injury, then something else....
Like so many, it sounds like he bit off more than he could chew, got in over his head, and over-spent order payments, leaving him unable to pay his suppliers, so some, but not all, orders went unfilled while he used the income from new orders to back-fill.

Rather than just shutting down ordering and saying "We're getting caught up"

And like Patrick Simms, he fulfilled enough orders to maintain a slow but steady stream of positive reviews online, so people familiar with his past gave him the benefit of the doubt and continued to order.

On his FB page he posted on Dec.6 that some company that is associated with 'burst luthier built replicas is proud to have him as one of their premier vendors. And he boasts about it. But continues to operate his sham website still taking people's money and going dark on them and not shipping? Somewhere an empty jail cell has his name written on it with a reservation. You just can't make this stuff up!

He's been trying to sell his company for a year.

Curious which company that builds replicas is partnering up with him... that means one thing, that's going to be his bread and butter. He'll limit his Reverb listings to what he can actually produce over and above what is needed for the replicas.
Pat Sims pulled the same thing... his orders for Kramer and other large companies get completed, but "Joe Plumber" orders are 50/50 at best.
