I don't know where you live, but a lot of places have grocery stores that deliver, one way or another. You can send an Uber driver, as I understand it.
But having a freezer is always a good idea, as far as I'm concerned.

If I really need a freezer in a Coronavirus event, the last thing I want is some Uber driver coming to my door and handling my food.

73,324 cases, they've actually separated the 454 on the Diamond Princess. The next largest concentration outside of Mainland China is 77 in Singapore.
1873 deaths.

"The Department of Justice announced today that the Chair of Harvard University’s Chemistry and Chemical Biology Department and two Chinese nationals have been charged in connection with aiding the People’s Republic of China.

Dr. Charles Lieber, 60, Chair of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Harvard University, was arrested this morning and charged by criminal complaint with one count of making a materially false, fictitious and fraudulent statement. Lieber will appear this afternoon before Magistrate Judge Marianne B. Bowler in federal court in Boston, Massachusetts.

Yanqing Ye, 29, a Chinese national, was charged in an indictment today with one count each of visa fraud, making false statements, acting as an agent of a foreign government and conspiracy. Ye is currently in China.

Zaosong Zheng, 30, a Chinese national, was arrested on Dec. 10, 2019, at Boston’s Logan International Airport and charged by criminal complaint with attempting to smuggle 21 vials of biological research to China. On Jan. 21, 2020, Zheng was indicted on one count of smuggling goods from the United States and one count of making false, fictitious or fraudulent statements. Sounds like they were making some weaponized shit.

Let the CIA go after them. Time for some "accidents".

I can see that quarantined cruise ship from my ship.
Looks like a floating leper colony.
The captain joked that they're looking for a new electrical supervisor, and I asked him if they still had the buffet.

I found out that we might have to let some people come on the ship in china for surveying the tanks when we discharge waste oil ashore. We were like "Yeah..... No." The office said we should have one of our guys check them for symptoms before allowing them onboard.
WTF??
We're not fucking doctors.
The union sent a letter to that dumbass saying HE could come check the person himself.
This company is unfuckinreal.

That’s like asking a welder for an eye exam. Hold fast M&M. Don’t let anyone on board!

Under the terms of Lieber’s three-year Thousand Talents contract, WUT paid Lieber $50,000 USD per month, living expenses of up to 1,000,000 Chinese Yuan (approximately $158,000 USD at the time) and awarded him more than $1.5 million to establish a research lab at WUT. In return, Lieber was obligated to work for WUT “not less than nine months a year” by “declaring international cooperation projects, cultivating young teachers and Ph.D. students, organizing international conference, applying for patents and publishing articles in the name of” WUT.

that guy is fuked.

What do we have going on here?

s

She says they are doing it for the money. This is going to cost China billions and billions of dollars. Perhaps hundreds of billions. I’m not discounting everything she says, but nobody has more to gain by gettting this under control then China right now.

That‘s probably about to change. Iran just announced two cases and then just announced that both died, and quarantined the city (allegedly). Did Iran have only those two cases and two deaths which appear to have no immediate connection to China? Or does the virus have unchecked invasion into parts of Iran?

I think it’s inevitable that we will see this circulating in anger in North America. Hopefully the true fatality rate is less than 2% and hopefully we find a vaccine soon enough.

I’m not a doctor, obviously, but I wonder if the death rate in China and India is higher because of the terrible air quality. This is a respiratory illness, and if you don't smoke in Wuhan, you smoke 40+ a day. If you DO smoke (and smoking is very popular) then you're smoking whatever you smoke, and 40+ per day. Maybe it's irrelevant, maybe it has some relevance.

Either way, here's hoping that they find a vaccine, very soon.
