The Beatles covered Chuck Berry's "Rock n' Roll Music", and blew Berry's version out of the water.

It was all Lennon and his positively searing, white-hot vocal that tears this track up:

Love when a cover totally changes the musical vibe and makes the lyrics seem something different.
Makes the Nazareth version seem like camp parody.

Scouser = native of Liverpool (like moi).

Named from the local meal called 'Scouse' or 'Lob-scouse'.

'er indoors still makes me scouse every week-end in winter. Had a pan of scouse today. Lovely! :dude:
