Wouldn't it be cool if the drones started firing back? Could claim "self defense"! :naughty: :laugh2:

Delivery drones are greener than delivery trucks...using drones would take vehicles off the road, reducing traffic, reduce the potential for accidents on the roads and other good stuff. I say bring 'em on. I'm all about saving Gaia.:thumb:

one on one, sure.

But how many deliveries does one fedex truck make a day on his/her route? 100s? Each one of those is now a separate drone flight. In some cases, traversing the same path many times. Is that cumulative footprint better?

Now compare that to eco-friendly delivery trucks (like electric) many carriers are moving to.

Well clearly KSG has no problems with drones commercial or otherwise and thinks the NSA should have carte blanche to spy on it's citizens anywhere anytime.

That surprises me.

There are legitimate uses for drones you know.

Like delivering pizza.

My brother-in-law was just telling me over the weekend that a select few Domino's pizza stores are supposed to start testing delivery via drone by 2015.

Seems a little quick but it wouldn't surprise me at all if they eventually get around to it.

Drones might still have the edge since they can take direct flight route where as delivery trucks are limited to roads.

Great, another 10 million Americans without jobs.

Why do you hate America??

Whoah.. Ten million Americans deliver pizza for a living?

I can just see people shooting them down to see what they've won for their marksmanship skill.

With all the guns in this country, and people just itching for a moving target, I see the potential for LOTS of people shooting at these things.

And just think about all the potential collateral damage, injuries and deaths...as far away as a mile or so...if you miss your target. Kinda scary thinking about it. And I'm a gun advocate.

pretty funny that the guy who scoffs at the use of firearms by civilians against government tyranny is here and now boldly proclaiming what a badass he is.

I approve this thread. :laugh2::laugh2::laugh2:

Your new Gibson won't be delivered by a drone, at least not a flying one. On the other hand, cell phones, books and smaller, lighter items can be delivered from a regional warehouse quite efficiently and quickly, unless some asshat shoots it down.:wow:

To go on a couple points made earlier, I think it was Cyber, imagine Budget Drone Rentals. Criminals wouldnt even need to own one.
Decades late. Ones like this, delivered from Mexico to Arizona and California throughout the 80s:
