May need to let it get a suntan. What kind of tanning oil should I use to get the sweet bronze?

Little more digging, looks like the same weave on another cab that turned that cool brown. He is a better photographer. I tried to get a similar shot, at night. I’m definitely going to set it by the window and see what happens. Fade to Brown!

Seems to be a very early example. No foot cups on top, 2pc angled baffle, sn#14xx, lowest I have seen. All other examples I could find have 1pc baffle with speakers on the same plane and foot cups.

The 17th and 18th of October, 1984. It's an early 1965A that didn't see a lot of sunlight! The early black grilled ones often faded to a tan color, if exposed to UV light .

The early A cabs had the true slant speaker baffleboard board too. My 1990 A cab has the later tilted flat baffle that makes it look like a regular slant cab...
I thought '86 was the year with the faded grill cloth?

Why Marshall didn’t put these two together makes me scratch my head. They were made for each other. The single stack 2x12s they are selling for 800$ Are goofy looking to me. They should have gone back to the 1965/66 cabs.

So there’s a few more scuffs on the bottom part of the tolex, but who’s looking? It’s sounds great.

From the looks of the cones from the front, I believe these are the correct g10l-35 speakers. I’ll open her up soon, when I have a cordless drill.

Stacks well with my sourmash 1x12.

I agree on all counts. Bring back the 1966/65 for the 20w heads. Those skinny 2x12's look kinda strange. I've actually been jonesin' for an SV20H to put on top of my 1966 stack.
