That damn GC used department. I have a 1960a that I’m 100% happy with, but I felt the 1965a needed a spot at my place under my 66 bassman. I’ll update when it gets drug over the Rocky Mountains from Pueblo.

Again, a bit of a crap shoot as far as speakers, since they won’t open it up. It’s from the 80s so I’m hoping originals are still in it.

I had a 1966B for a while. They and the 1965s were usually paired up with the early 80s Lead 100 Mosfet and some other models. Good cabinets, very convenient. But now I only have 1960 A and Bs.

Congrats! I've got a 1965a and 1966a.
Been using the the 1965a as extension cab with my H&K combo for outdoor gigs this week. Not stacked, I put the combo on the side and the 1965 on back line so I hear from both angles. Not mega loud but it helps fill space outside, and isn't a back breaker!
Those 24x24" cabs are awesome.

I picked one up several years ago for my 5F6a Bassman head. I replaced all the speakers with Eminence Legend alnicos. If you are looking for original Celestion speakers, I set them aside for safekeeping. Should you find yourself looking for a set of original speakers…

Forgot to get them before I bought it. They pulled it off the site. Going to have to wait until it arrives. Hopefully not loosely packed in a kick drum box, like my 4x12 was shipped.

Its a small handled one, black grill cloth. Tolex looks decent.

Arrived extremely well packed (in a kick drum box) with lots of bubble wrap around it, a protective cardboard blocking the front, then crumpled paper packed the rest of the box that was taped very well! Awesome job guitar center Pueblo!

Score! It has a little discoloration on the grill cloth but other than that, tolex is excellent with only one small dime size tear. As a bonus, my super reverb slip cover, covers it perfectly.

It sounds great so far, I’ll update later after some play time. Still need to open it up.

Any one know how to date from SN#?
