I just got a very nice 2007 Classic from central scrutinizer [great guy] and decided to spruce it up a smidge. I put a very nice harness in it fro Roxie13, along with a new switch and wires, covered the pickups, which are a very nice set of older Duncan '59s, and bought a not-so-pink set of plastics from Philadelphia Luthier. It makes quite a difference, don't you think?

I have a set of Geppetto double creams that I almost put in, but the.tone of the Duncans is really good, so I kept them instead.

Yes, but you had me at new pickguard and switch tip. I think it would look killer with those items and the exposed black coils too.

Best of all is the finish, which looks great. I love covered pickups, for the cleaner look, the shielding, and, yes, the capacitance that tames the too-high overtones. So yay for that. Really nice looking LP.

I have two. This one, and a 2007 Classic Antique. You are right. they are perfect LPs.
