Well, your choice seems to be cosmetics over tone/sustain....how typical

I found the tone and sustain improved immensely with the Faber. The guitar rings out like a piano, and all notes are far more articulate. No change whatsoever with the setup. I wasn't unhappy with the TP, but wanted to give the ABR a shot on that guitar.

I had a friend play it without mentioning the part change, and he immediately asked me what I had done to make it play and sound that much better. Different strokes.
