In 0001 AMC ( After Mayan Calendar)

Maybe very late next year or NAMM 2013.

Looks pretty much like 95% of the 'lemon', or 'butterscotch' Historics I've seen. So, they're not making R9's anymore, just copying Bursts and upping the price 9K?

Reading these forums, it is a well-known fact that the CC series are just ordinary R9s with a heftier price tag.

NAMM 13, still one year to wait to get my hand on one?

Many that have tried the CC guitars feel and hear a difference with the normal historic.

Better woods and more attention to details may contribute.

i made that same comment on the LPF...i guess, in a way, it would make sense if they were all '59s so far, since the finishes on those have pretty much all faded to some extent.

i have no evidence to back it up, but i bet the ultra faded finishes have never been more popular than now - fits in with the whole relic/aged thing right now
