I will keep paying cash, as long as I can, and avoid places that don't take cash. I'm not interested in paying credit card fees and interest on little bullshit purchases.

Someone enlighten me please. The verbiage on cash notes says the note is legal tender for all debts public and private. So how can it be refused? Serious question, because I really don't know
Places like Walmart are still taking cash but you have to use full service registers and not the self checkout

I wonder if there's any legal reason one can't offer a discount for a preferred form of payment? Cash, gold, silver, AlNiCo, tumbled brass or whatever.

I seem to remember there being a legal issue with charging a higher rate or fee for a credit card payment.

Most of you guys will never make it to the quarter finals. I have a cute story. I really loved my Granny. She wasn't a sports fan. I was watching an NBA game and I can't remember why but she asked me how many quarters were in a game. :doh:
