I do it on and off...I'm more of a dealer in Newfoundlandia than a collector but I've had a complete set of Newfoundland coins a few years ago...then sold it :thumb: I'm more into documentation these days.

Find out which ones and I'll keep an eye out.
Hi dude, this is much appreciated! :D Marie is here just now but she can't remember them all off the top of her head, she has them written down, but the list is at her home.

Ones she is certain about though are: Florida, Nebraska.

I have nearly every single American coin from 1900 up to date. My grandpa started the collection and gave it to me when he died.

I once bought some guys gold collection, paid him quite well for it too. In it there was an 1856(I think) 1/2 Eagle. I had the book and check out the coin to make sure there were no varities on that year. Anyway to make a long story even longer, I listed it on ebay and it sold for $2300. Turns out that the book I had didn't list a specific rare variety, which this coin was :)

I have alot of coins, here are two of my favorites
an 1882 Silver Dollar and Silver Shekel coin from Israel

I've got several of these. My grandparents opened a box when I was a kid and they had 8-9 of them. They didnt know if they were worth anything. Hell, I think it was a fluke they even found them.

If anybody intends to put together a coin collection as an investment, as well as for pleasure, please be wise enough to buy coins which will appreciate in value. When I was dealing in coins and banknotes, I saw a lot of collections that were not put together wisely. Years and thousands of dollars were spent buying coins that actually depreciated in value...I refer directly to "collector coins" produced by minting companies. It's not a nice feeling having to tell somebody that the $20,000 they put into their collection is only worth about $2000. When buying a rare or scarce coin, make sure that it's certified from a reputable coin grading company as there are lots of extremely good Chinese fakes out there these days...
