Silly question perhaps, but I've never owned a LP with coil taps. So I ordered some speed knobs for my Studio Deluxe. I took it they were all the fine-knurled pot shafts, not so. The tones are, so the knobs I ordered fit those, but the vol are coarse-knurled...FML! Should have checked first. Didn't realize at first and I pushed pretty hard, hope I didn't eff the pot up.

I've seen some of you guys here with the Studio Deluxe with after-market knobs. Are your pots also mismatched like this? I assume it's normal, just thought I'd ask though.

What sucks is the speed knobs I want are cream colored. All the coarse-knurled knobs on Stewmac are standard Gibson colors, black, amber, and gold. Any idea where to get coarse-knurled cream speed knobs?

I think your best bet would bet would be Allparts Welcome to Allparts Music - Guitar, Bass, and Amp Parts Supplier. My Trad pro had this issue...you'd think Gibson would use USA pots for everything. I just replaced all the pots in my LPC, including adding a push pull. I ordered the push pull from Martin six string custom....a vendor here on the forum, and it uses the USA knobs (fine). Allparts has everything....
