Wow, I hadn't heard about Butte College, damn. This is bad, they've been fearing this for years. With the lack of rain we've had around here this year, this is going to be a dangerous summer. It's already off to a bad start.

Yea Butte College was the Staging Area for
the fire fighting and now its got buildings on fire.
Its bad, probably the worst we have ever had

Dude, you've got an uncomfortably close front row view. The sky was pretty clear over on Myers Street where I work most of the day, but the sky turned black in a heartbeat when the wind shifted. You can see the fire plain as day from Stony Creek bridge on my way home, that's close enough for me.

Yeah, I heard they were using it as a staging area, where did you find info on Butte?

Paradise's perfect fire storm they have been worrying about
for decades

They just updated it that over 40 homes have burnt now

Wow, that's freaking scary, I was just referencing New Orleans with a work buddy talking about the fire earlier, damn. The smoke is all the way over Willows now, and I just heard on KPAY that they are getting ash rained down on them. Jesus, this could easliy wipe Paradise out.

Well, my brother, keep an eye on that thing. I know where you are, and if that wind shifts the wrong way it'll come right for you, be careful,

Yea i know how bad it is in southern California to
LA, the Coast of LA and San Diego county got really hammerd last year.

Looks about the same outside today, the air is alot
more smokey today because the winds died down,
its about 5% more contained today than yesterdays
10% so it is still burning away.
They are working real hard keeping the fire away from the buildings
on the Butte College Campus today, so far its just buring the fields, trees
and some sheds they cut some big fire breaks so i think they may
make it through the fire.
People in Paradise still pretty worried, all roads in and out are still blocked
they are in the mountains.

Here is a photo from Butte College last night

The most devastating stories of the Humboldt Fire are from 74 lost homes and businesses. 20 homes were damaged, along with 8 outbuildings.

The hardest hit area was just off Neal Road in southeast Paradise.

The fire swept through the area on Thursday.

Fire officals say the fire was pushed north up a canyon by winds and flames reached heights of more than 100 feet.
