If I were you I'd do whatever it took to get the cash. That's a nice find.
I bought an 81 Custom off CL for $1000 cash in hand a little over a year ago.
When I saw it I didn't have the cash or any idea how to get it but I came up with a way and had the guitar later that afternoon.
