The channel shape and location seem to close the case in favor of the guitar being a ‘75, assuming that a ‘75 LPC would have witch hats and a wired ABR-1. I’m told the pickups are T-Tops. Is that correct for ‘75?
Curiously, the caps in the ’71 and ‘72 Deluxes you guys have shown are Sprague paper-in-oil, but the ones in the ‘71 LPC look just like “those brown oblong caps” that “were used in 74/75”.
So what we have here is most likely a Wine Red ‘75 LPC, all-original (I assume this since no one seems to have been troubled by the sloppy solder work) but in need of a re-fret. Value $3K-ish, perhaps?
