Booze. What is your favorite cheap liquor. Not rot gut, but decent booze on a budget. Here is what I am consuming. What's your's?

Kentucky Walker. $17 for a 1.75L bottle. But good straight Bourbon.

I used to drink a lot of Seagram's VO. It's still about $18 per handle (1.75L). Get yourself some dry vermouth, marachino(sp?) cherries, and you got yourself a VO Manhattan. :D

VO or Segrams 7.

They are the same liquor, but the 7 is cheaper because it is not aged as long.

Good smooth taste, at a reasonable price.

My choice for best cheap bourbon is Evan Williams. It's about $17.50 OTD for 1.75L at Total Wine in these parts.

I used to drink Even a lot. I found this brand at Smart And Final, and it is actually much better. Try it if you have a S&F near you.

I can't drink whiskey. But this...

This is nectar of the gods. And around the same price as Silent Sam, which doesn't have as much complexity.

Fine sippin' liquor, for sure.

Another great bourbon with a great history:

Old Fitzgerald Bourbon.
Since 1870
Higher Wheat content than other Bourbons.
Served in the White House in many administrations.
Known as "The favorite of American Presidents."

the way the world is these days the old actual bottling process for wine doesn't mean shit any more, so buy the right box stuff and you're getting the same thing as you would in a bottle anyway
wine really has gone to hell in a handbasket the last 10 years or so, it's a real shame :(

anyway, booze costs so damn much in this country everything i drink is a "guilty pleasure"

Yellowtail, PBR, and Jack Daniels are my regulars. Then again, with how cheap their regular line is when you're living in KC, Boulevard is about as cheap to get hammered off of as PBR is. For the record, Boulevard is amazing.

As far as bourbon goes, Buffalo Trace is the best I've found for the money.
