Hey all! I just received some vintage tuner buttons (plastic keystones). The problem is, when I take off the Chrome Kidney buttons (which I hate) on my Grovers, the keystones don't fit on - their holes are too small. Any way I can do this at home?

Just roll up a piece of sandpaper and slide it in. Be careful not to remove too much material though.

STEWMAC.COM : Video of Vintage-style Tuner Knobs

this is the way i did it to my lp

this is the way it came out. not perfect, but not bad for a first try. i am going to do it again with double ringed tuners which are more accurate for a 1960 lp. my guitar is not actually a 1960, or a reissue, its a trad 1960, but i am aspiring to make it look like a reissue.
