Turned out great. Red Eye was in my top 3 CC's they made. This looks pretty badass. Looking forward to some good pics once you get er home.

Very beautiful. I enjoyed the thread, the pictures and the end result is outstanding. You deserve to be proud of the guitar and I wish you many happy hours with it. Don’t let anyone tell you it’s anything other than magnificent.

It's done. It's really done. Florian sent me the final pics and I'm speechless. It turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I'm gonna write more about it after I picked it up tomorrow. For now I'm mostly just browsing through these pictures over and over again :drool::drool:

Man, it looks SO GOOOD!!!
I can only imagine how impatient you'll be to pick it up!

As soon as it happens we want detailed pictures and maybe a sound sample :)

First off let me tell you how thankful I am for your feedback. When I started this thread I wasn't sure how it would turn out but I am so glad that you all enjoyed it. As someone who followed many makeover and diy threads in the dark I just happy that I was able to give something back!
Anyways, I picked up the guitar yesterday and without any exaggeration I was flat out speechless. When entering Florians workshop my Red Eye was already hanging on the wall in one of his showcases and it looked like the real thing. The burst, the red Anyline dye, the aging, the top carve, the brazz board and everything else is just an amazing work of art. I knew I couldn't go wrong with this project but with Florian going the extra mile in every way he could he delivered the instrument I wouldn't even dream of. It's amazing to play and it sounds as you would expect. It sings, it gnarls, it bites... your typical Les Paul but it all comes so easy. I will try to record it anytime soon and share it here. Maybe I'll even go for a comparison between my BM1 (withouth the brazz board etc.) and my BM2.
Thankfully the weather was really nice today so meanwhile enjoy some quick shots of my newest axe.

This is incredibly disappointing. Because the guitar is finished, the thread updates will be done.

Seriously, though. Great thread. Looks Luke a gorgeous guitar.
