Hey Caramel - the store I work in had a 2013 Trad Caramel burst come in stock just last week.

Would you like me to get a picture for you?

The number two has "math paper" in it, me don't like.

The number one has a more unique and interesting top on it. I would go for that.

tough choice on them. They are both great looking. 1 has a unique top and 2 has a great flame. I would not want to decide:D

Hi Caramel,

Sorry for the late response! Busy day, BUT I did get a chance to snap some pictures of our Caramel Traditional for you! Also I don't think I can reply to conversations yet.. Maybe just me being stupid though!

It's not the flamiest, or most figured, but this guitar SCREAMS! I'm paying off a Honeyburst Trad, but I'm almost certain this one has the better tone of the two. A colleague of mine is insistent that the less flame and figuring to the Maple the more crisp tone the maple cap adds to the overall sound. He might be on to something, because my Honeyburst has a very figured top and just doesn't.. I dunno. This thing just sounds ferocious!

Anyway, here's a few pics for you!

Thanks!

I really like the uneven flame and visible rings in #1. #2 one isn't too bad either though a bit more flames and less grain. The one posted above isn't bad looking either. Keep in mind though the flame may be more or less predominate depending on the angle and the lighting. Also #2 pops the most because it has better lighting. I'm sure the one posted above looks better in person as well.

Good hunting.

Well I had a good look and play at both today and finally decided on number 1 :) it's almost a quilt affect in the light and the grain really is unique, I love it.

I have some older les paul parts kicking around which I might fit too. 70s tuners and tophat knobs, 80s pick up rings and a 50s scratch plate and toggle switch tip. Not sure on the tuners but I think the aged plastics will look good on it. Setup with a set of hybrid 10-52 elixirs tomorrow.

The flamey one just didn't feel as nice for some reason. Although its still a beautiful guitar I think it almost looked like a fake veneer the flame was so uniform.

It's quite hard to get a pic of how nice mine actually is, but I'll get some nicer pics up tomorrow in the sun (if we get any). Here's a quick snap for now guys.

Nice choice. For me as well, number 1 was the better choice, based on appearance any way.

Enjoy it.

Totally agree with number 1 - that's the exact guitar I actually brought home briefly, before returning it.

Wish I hadn't returned it now after seeing it again! A truly, very nice guitar indeed.

Congrats and HNGD! Jealous!!

Thanks guys. I'm over the moon with it and have just called her caramel, seems fitting.

So you took this guitar home then returned it iguana? Why?? I'd like to know.

It is 11lbs 2oz but has massive sustain. Number two was lighter. Is the weight just dependant on the density of the mahogany?

I've got some nice pics of caramel including some guitar porn for you guys but now but my laptop has went on the fritz the day after spending 1700 notes on a guitar. Typical . I can't seem to load more than one picture at a time on the iPad so bear with me, I'll have to do this post by post sorry guys.
