This was sold to me as a 2011 Standard. It's a lot heavier than a chambered Les Paul. Additionally, my understanding of the 2011 Standards are that they'll say "2011" on the headstock. So with that, I was curious if anyone could help me understand what color and what year this is - I was thinking the first and fifth digits, so a 2019?

This is a 2019 Standard..... can’t tell if it’s a 60s or 50s as the knobs have been switched to speed knobs.....

Does it have a thin or chunky neck?

Bet its a thin neck... it has Grover’s.

Must be a 60s Standard.
(Should have reflector knobs)

Its definitely a thinner neck than the 2016 Traditional. This was supposed to be a 2011 which I had planned to take back because I didn't know that year was chambered (should have done research first!). But now that its a 2019 - this kind of stinks! Because I got a decent price on it - But I'd rather have a 50s instead of the 60s! It weighs more than my 2016 as well! I doubt that wife will let me keep both - but might as well ask!

These have no weight relief,... but it does have the 60s slim taper neck.

Nice guitar though. Darkburst I assume.

Tell her you can’t send it back because it’s the wrong guitar....

Definitely a 2019 60s Standard with the knobs swapped out. Color is either Iced Tea or Bourbon Burst, it's always hard to tell for sure in photos taken indoors.

If the pre-pack checklist is still in the case the model number on there contains all the info you would need.

Nice looking guitar.

If the QC card isn't in the case, does it have the model code in the cavity under the pups?
That should tell you everything you need to know.

Good call. The finish should be written in the neck cavity (either IT for ice tea or BB of bourbon burst), and the model will be in the bridge cavity (should be LPS6 in this case).
