I attended a private university on academic scholarship. My peers were generally from very wealthy families.

I envied them, until I discovered some of them envied me- that my parents didn’t control me with their money.

To believe that socialism is the ultimate goal is to fall short of the mark. The goal is a singular worldwide government/religion to which all the peoples of the world willingly pay homage. Those who withstand will be put to the death. There is one who empowers the future AI just as an unseen electrical charge stimulates a quartz crystal; who continually serves deceptive knowledge to man piece by piece in the name of "progress"; a progression toward world slavery, leading first to a temporal utopia for mankind, and then to a misery which mankind has never experienced before nor will experience again until the second death.

The day of fulfillment cannot be predicted.

Well I believe this I do also believe what Malecon said there are opposing factions one want socialism and one wants one world government one religion open borders a global community if you will.

I remember dress codes but nothing like this. What a crock of shit.

You know they think they’re so smart like I said I went to a Catholic school and even though we had to wear the same thing every day people were still mocked for the type of shoes they wore or the slacks that they were or how they tied their tie or if their pants were floods. this coat rule very shortsighted and doesn’t address the real problem which is kids will be kids.

Certain people are trying really hard to make us Socialists.

If the idiots actually get what they want they're in for a rude awakening.

BANG!!
POP GOES THE WEASEL!!

My mom initially wouldn't buy Levis because they cost $5.00 a pair. I see the logic now. That was when $20.00 would buy five full bags of groceries.
If the United States Of America has to make a choice between food or a coat, pray tell what its like living somewhere else.

When I was in grade school wingtips were the big thing, then Hush Puppies.

Damn. In high school it was Wing-Tips and Levis. I grew up in the '50's and '60's. Fashion and Fads were normal. Trench coats; Floaters; Quilted ski jackets and Chuck Taylors. My family was lower middle class and my grandparents helped a bit. I don't remember any instances where I noticed any overt envy or jealousy.

My mom put me in Toughskins!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't get my first pair of Levi's cords until 6th grade.

I'm still not over it.

Being picked on is an important part of growing up. If you don't develop the tools to deal with criticism and other forms of negativity, you'll probably end up in a clock tower with a high powered rifle.

In mankind it is unnatural to have guaranteed equality in outcomes. Life is a contact sport, put on your cup, tighten your chin strap and get to it.

Gozer the Traveler. He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrini, the traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor! Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!

:applause:
