I have been told that this is a 1966 Gibson SG melody maker, But I dont see any serial number and have been told the neck looks like its been replaced
I will try to upload more pics later, any help would be appreciated

It looks rather 'flamey' to be a '66 Melody Maker, but there are those here who are much more expert at this than I.
More pics will be VERY helpful!

Yeah I don't know either, but that's what I was thinking... A quilted 66 MM? :hmm:

It looks right to me. I had a '68 2-pickup SG/MM. One of the best playing guitars I've ever owned.

Thanks for the replies guys,Looking at it the Guitar looks rather beat, the back cover is missing and there is a large crack running through where the Volume and tone knobs are there are also three small holes where something else was mounted, any advice on fixing her up?

I'm guessing the 3 holes are from the missing Vibrola tailpiece.
Is this a guitar that you already own, or one that you are interested in buying?

I already own this guitar, It was given to me awhile back by a customer as payment for rebuilding the engine in his 69 camaro
