possibly T is pushing back since the Electrified Garage hacked the model 3 code? and references selling that upgrade through Electrified Garage?

i think Rich will eventually see a suit for selling "upgrades" that are probably protected as IP.

at one point in the video Rich goes off about having his referral code deleted. he has purchased a used X from them so he should have one. he stated his code was used to purchase 2 million dollars worth of cars but he was informed he wouldn't be getting any referral prizes.

which sucks, because he did have a legitimate right to the code and it's benefits no different than 100 other tubers that are getting Roadsters "someday".

i like the cars but Rich is the only tuber i watch regarding the vehicles. the rest are just sucking the teet.

absolutely. and really, they should be supporting him, if the goal is widespread EV market.

but if he's selling their IP, then he'll wind up sued. it would be an interesting case to watch, the whole "at what point do you really own something" part is what i'm interested in seeing. kind of like comma.ai guy George Hotz and his suit with Sony when he hacked a PS.
