Building me a new 1x12 cab...

...and would like you guys to vote on what color to make it, I already have a black cab with red speaker screen, snakeskin with black grill/screen, blue with beige screen, paisley with creme screen and green gator with creme screen. All of them are 2x12 (one is 4x12) and I know some will say "that many cabs and you need another?" but there actually is a reason I need a smaller cab.

I need a 1x12 because I am teaching a couple of kids in their home, they are brothers and one can't leave home because of some illness but he loves music, the other one has been my pupil for a year and he's always taken lessons at my academy but now I'm gonna go to their place 2 times a week and it really is a pain to move a 2x12 80 pound combo or a 2x12 cab + head (+ guitar and all that stuff).

So I'm thinking the VOX Night Train + a 1x12 cab will probably do, I can put the cables inside the cab and the head has its own bag.

Anyway... I don't know if I should make it in a finish/color I already have or a new one... I'll probably start using it for small gigs so I want it to look cool... it could also get raffled at the end of the year in here and the little money it would make could be donated.

So please make your suggestions and I'll start a poll with them, it can be any color or even some graphic/art as I know a guy who could make some printed tolex.

The grill/screen will be either black or creme.

ok, perhaps I'm just projecting my own wants here.

I want so badly an amp that has this kind of vibe...

....while I punch some brutal rip your face off music through it. I look at this amp pretty much weekly. I've even thought about building a cab along these lines (only in surf green) that I could stick my Marshall into and use it as a shell of some sort. So it looks all crazy surf green retro, but still has the pounding sound of a Marshall.

IF that's all your going to use it for wouldn't a small combo be better? Guitar in one hand the combo in the other. One trip your done.

Yeah but I currently don't own a small combo (sold my ZT Lunchbox) and don't want to buy one. I'd rather build something I'll actually use

I've done it. In Texas I built a huge 2x15 closed back cabinet and spray painted it. Then we cranked up the big amp and blew it up

You could ask the two brothers you're teaching what there opinion is...they would probably get a kick out of helping make the decision, especially if you're using it at their house to teach them to play.
That's just what I would do...
