That being said I really dig the contrast between Walnut and Korina.

I have some Maple for a plane top but, I'm not sold on it yet.
I have a better idea.

Yes, it's in the Limba. It began to show up during the step carving. At that point I knew I didn't want that in my top, and it was coming off. I went deeper to expose more of it and see how bad it really was. It was pretty ugly, as you can see.

Okay, here is the new top I just bought. It's thick enough to get two bookmatched sets out of it.
