I don't know why I just noticed this.
My question is why do some bridges have the saddle adjustment screws on the side with the stop bar, and some are on the side of the pickup?

I know someone on here will know.

The abr faces toward the pickup typically as they are closer to the top and the string angle behind the bridge would make for tricky adjustment

Those are correct for Nashville bridges.
Ultimately, as long as the screws don't hit the strings and you can get a blade on them, it really doesn't matter.
But once the saddles are notched, if they are gauged for the strings and not just generic notches, they should not be rotated.
