Congrats!!!! Your demo was awesome. I can not get past the bright yellow binding.
It is bright, but it works on this model... and it is a reproduction of Joe's 58, which they nailed 90%... the 10% they missed is Joe's neck binding is not yellowed ;)

Honestly, I am extremely impressed with this guitar as the OP is.
It is extremely impressive for an $800 guitar.

The case... still unopened...

It's a smooth texture, without the "give" of a typical Gibson case. The lock is a nice touch... though any case lock is essentially worthless.
The banding is a harder vinyl/plastic material, not at all leather-like.

First time the case was opened... you're seeing it as I saw it...

Unwrapped the headstock....

Nut, bridge, and action... all untouched from the factory.

I wonder if I wait to next year will a BB be as good as this. They usually have a BB model in the Epiphone range, I'm just not set 100% on the yellowed binding, but Long Neck Tenon and fat neck is the selling point.

I wonder if Joe ever called it a bumble bee (BB).With the hoopla around this one I hope theirs another one in the pipeline down the road.Like a BB2.0.Too address the problems people are having with this one.

The only thing I don't like about mine is that my string winder doesn't fit the keys.

Congrats, love the video! Hope you enjoy her for a long time. I did a comparison between my Gibson Custom and the Joe Bonamassa 58 Custom, they were pretty much identical to my ears, very very close.

The Joe B. '58 Custom is hard to put down. I've a wall of great guitars and the Joe B. Custom gets the lift almost every time.

Truly sublime.

Looks like they still have them in stock on the Epiphone site.

Should I get another and put it in the closet? Hmmm....

I'd be kidding myself if I said that I haven't considered buying a 2nd one with the signature inlay.
